ด้วยข้อจำกัดหลายด้านของการไทเทรตวิธี Manual Titration ปัจจุบันบริษัท SI Analytics จากประเทศเยอรมนี ซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จักในชื่อเดิมคือ SCHOTT จึงมีการพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีเพื่อมาตอบโจทย์การวิเคราะห์ให้ได้ผลที่ถูกต้อง และแม่นยำ ลดปัจจัยการเกิดข้อผิดพลาดในกระบวนการวิเคราะห์ เครื่องไทเทรตอัตโนมัติรุ่น TItroLine Series จึงถูกออกแบบเพื่อมาลดข้อจำกัดที่มีในวิธีแบบ Manual Titration โดยเครื่องไทเทรตอัตโนมัติจะเปลี่ยนตัวบ่งชี้การสิ้นสุดปฏิกิริยาจาก Indicator เป็น Electrode ซึ่งมีหลักการในการวัดค่า pH หรือ mv ที่มีความแม่นยำสูง จึงทำให้สามารถวัดค่าจากจุดสมมูลของสารได้โดยตรง ผลที่ได้จึงมีความถูกต้องและแม่นยำ และ Electrde ที่ใช้เป็นตัวบ่งชี้ยังถูกพัมนามาให้เหมาะสมกับปฏิกิริยาแต่ละชนิดที่แตกต่างกัน เพื่อให้การวิเคราะห์มีประสิทธิภาพที่สุด
