ในงาน Polymer มักจะมีการเติมสาร Additive เพื่อปรับปรุงคุณภาพ และคุณสมบัติของวัสดุให้ตรงตามลักษณะการใช้งาน ซึ่งมักประกอบด้วยกลุ่มธาตุ เช่น Al, Si, P, S, Ca, Ti และ Zn เครื่องเอกซเรย์รุ่น Epsilon 1 สามารถวิเคราะห์หาปริมาณของธาตุกลุ่มดังกล่าว ได้อย่างแม่นยำ ด้วย ADPOL Calibration Standard ซึ่งเป็น Standard เฉพาะสำหรับการวิเคราะห์ธาตุใน Additive และ Catalyst ในตัวอย่าง Poly-olefins (PE และ PP) ใช้เวลาในการวิเคราะห์ตัวอย่างละ 5 นาที สามารถทราบผลการวิเคราะห์ของทุกธาตุที่มีในตัวอย่าง
